Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL) is seeking a qualified content expert/curriculum developer to lead the revision of PSYC 4281: Psychology Capstone.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Instructional Designer to develop a comprehensive course plan, including learning outcomes, activities, and assessments. They will also create engaging multimedia content and ensure the course meets the needs of online learners.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a detailed course planning document, including learning outcomes, activities, and assessments.
- Revise and/or develop content to ensure relevance and appropriateness for online learners.
- Create multimedia content to enhance student engagement.
- Choose effective resources, prioritizing low-cost and accessible options.
- Accurately cite sources and identify third-party material requiring copyright clearance.
- Follow guidelines on AI-generated content.
- PhD in Psychology required.
- Current and ongoing engagement in the course subject matter through research and/or scholarship of teaching.
- Recent and substantial experience in psychology.
- Demonstrated ability to write in a clear and consistent style.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
