About This Opportunity

This role is primarily focused on designing, implementing, integrating, and delivering 3D slope stability and FE geotechnical analysis products, particularly BUILD3D and SLOPE3D (which is a part of GeoStudio). As a member of a cross-functional team, you will work closely with QA Developers, Research Engineers, Product Managers, and other disciplines, collaborating with leading software development teams globally.

You will have the opportunity to:

  1. Develop core library code shared between 2D and 3D product lines
  2. Design and implement 3D geometry handling, including intersections and meshing
  3. Develop user interface components and implement visualization features
  4. Maintain and improve existing codebases
  5. Prepare or assist in preparing product feature specifications
  6. Lead small- to medium-sized software projects
  7. Mentor less experienced team members
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  3. Knowledge of Object-Oriented design and development principles
  4. Strong experience in C++ programming language
  5. Experience with VTK, OpenCascade, FEM, or similar technologies a plus

The estimated annual salary for this position is $105,000 - $140,000 CAD, depending on your qualifications and experience.
