The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering student-centered instruction, promoting student success, and participating in reflective practice and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a variety of courses in Allied Health, including Indigenous Culture and Multiculturalism, and Anatomy & Physiology.
  • Design instruction through curriculum, simulation, and practicums, across several programs of study.
  • Enhance educational delivery through the use of technology and various teaching and learning strategies.
  • Participate in program quality assurance activities and program, divisional, and college-wide recruitment and marketing activities.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a field of study related to Allied Health; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of current, diverse experience working in a healthcare setting that includes Indigenous communities and/or client groups.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous-focused policies as related to social determinants of health.
  • Indigenous identity and connections to First Nations, Metis, or Inuit communities would be an asset.
