Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of courses in Allied Health, including Indigenous Culture and Multiculturalism, and Anatomy & Physiology.
- Design instruction through curriculum, simulation, and practicums, across several programs of study.
- Enhance educational delivery through the use of technology and various teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate in program quality assurance activities and program, divisional, and college-wide recruitment and marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a field of study related to Allied Health; Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of five years of current, diverse experience working in a healthcare setting that includes Indigenous communities and/or client groups.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous-focused policies as related to social determinants of health.
- Indigenous identity and connections to First Nations, Metis, or Inuit communities would be an asset.
