Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple projects and portfolios, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies and approaches to drive business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring alignment with BMO's risk appetite and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Provide strategic input into business decisions, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Monitor and control project deliverables, making recommendations and adjustments to the overall project plan as needed.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management, building trust and rapport with project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in project management, with a focus on portfolio management and delivery.
- Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
- Entrepreneurial skills, including in-depth judgement, learning agility, and stakeholder management expertise.
- Ability to navigate challenging situations effectively, apply project management methodologies, and manage project and business risks.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
- Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, influence skills, and collaboration and team skills.
