Financial Clerk Position for Kungfu Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Clerk to join our team at Kungfu Restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the financial success of our business.
Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, presenting data in a clear and concise manner.
- Compile a trial balance of books, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Degree in Accounting or a related field (Secondary school graduation certificate preferred).
- A competitive estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
