Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Paralegal to join our team at TOTEM Recruteur de talent. As a Junior Paralegal in Corporate Law, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and assisting with various corporate law tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update corporate records;
- Conduct corporate research;
- Register extra-provincial companies and register them with tax numbers;
- Process certificate of compliance and attestation requests;
- Inform clients about corporate matters;
- Assist with the preparation of articles of incorporation, amendment, and dissolution;
- Write resolutions and complete forms;
Requirements:
• Diploma in Legal Techniques;
• Experience in a similar role;
• Bilingual (French and English);
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Our client serves a national and international clientele and must be able to offer services in both languages. This position requires a very good knowledge of both languages, as the candidate will have to provide services in English to clients and various stakeholders involved in the files.
