About the Company
Our client, a highly reputable national law firm, is seeking a skilled Labour and Employment Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Labour and Employment Practice Group.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the lawyers in the Labour and Employment Practice Group, assuming overall accountability for work requested by the lawyers, law clerks, and document specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the scheduling of important events, including client meetings, court deadlines, conferences, and lawyer meetings.
- Manage correspondence, prepare correspondence, and liaise with multiple key stakeholders.
- Support and coordinate with intake, billing, and collections.
- Provide day-to-day support as required with drafting of various legal memoranda, in accordance with Firm guidelines and protocol.

Requirements
- Three or more years' experience supporting a national labour and employment practice group.
- High proficiency using MS Office Space, DMS, and various legal software.
- Sound understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Sound understanding of practice management, including intake and complex client billing.
