Job Title: Medical Office Assistant - Health Services Support

Job Summary:

The Sandy Hill Community Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our Health Services team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reception services, including answering phone calls and greeting clients
  • Manage medical records, including updating patient information and filing documents
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's calendar
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry and preparing reports

Requirements:

  • High school graduation diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Office Assistant diploma
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
