Job Description

This is a key member role in a centre of excellence for education and advocacy of information on RBC's risk management practices and programs, leading to embedding a risk mindset in the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing guidance to internal partners as the first line of defense for regulatory and legal requirements in relation to Loyalty and Solution Acceleration & Innovation (SA&I).
  • Apply professional judgment to solve problems and find solutions to complex business risk scenarios through collaboration and consensus building.
  • Ensure comprehensive risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and monitoring across all risk types for the business unit across all channels in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Framework and its associated policies.
  • Support the design and development of appropriate reporting based on key risk indicators and key data requirements, working with product and strategy representatives as required.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in:

  • Risk & Regulatory Management.
  • Solid knowledge of RBC's Business and Functional Units.
  • Experience in digital risk management, and/or agile ways of working.
  • Experience in third party risk and/or vendor management.
  • Proven leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and professional communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of processes, systems, technologies, and strategic priorities across Loyalty and SA&I.
  • Demonstrated ability to impact and influence. Thoughtful and definitive decision maker.
