Metrolinx is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Business Strategist to lead the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of success in strategic planning, resource allocation, and team management. This individual will be responsible for allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs, establishing departments and senior staff positions, coordinating the work of regions, divisions or departments, formulating and approving policies and programs, representing the organization in negotiations and official functions, and selecting executive staff and delegating authority.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Metrolinx as a key member of our senior leadership team. As a Senior Business Strategist, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's strategy and direction. You will work closely with our executive team to develop and implement business plans, establish performance metrics, and drive results-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs
  • Establish departments and senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Formulate and approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions
  • Select executive staff and delegate authority

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of success in strategic planning, resource allocation, and team management
  • Demonstrated ability to allocate resources effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, pension plan, and wellness program.
