Job Description

Job Title: Chief Executive Officer - Financial and Business Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead our financial and business services team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operations of our business services division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and direction to the business services team, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring effective management of financial resources.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of senior executives, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business partners, and community leaders.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a senior executive role, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
