Job Summary

Weston Frontlines Centre - Frontlines is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as its Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for establishing and executing major goals and objectives for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to Frontlines' activities, analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of all organizational operations.
  • Board Engagement: Work with the Board of Directors on governance policy issues, identifying and advising on emerging issues and priorities in the external environment that impact the program.
  • Public Relations: Act as the spokesperson for the organization, pursuing opportunities to promote Frontlines in the broader community.
  • Administration/HR: Provide leadership to organization personnel, ensuring compliance with minimum standards in accordance with all government legislation, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to the organization's role as an employer and non-profit agency.
  • Financial Management: Maintain full awareness of the complete financial, statistical, and accounting records of the organization, working with the Board and Treasurer to develop and maintain a yearly budget.
  • Fundraising: Responsible for Frontlines fundraising programs, including capital, operations, and special funds, setting and maintaining fundraising goals and supporting staff in reaching these goals.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years experience working at a senior management level.
  • Educational background in community development, social work, or fundraising (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
  • Strong financial management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Relevant experience leading a senior management team.
  • Experience with Workplace Culture initiatives.
  • Proven strong fundraising experience.
  • Experience in grant/proposal writing.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with communities of diverse backgrounds.
