Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead our business services team at Canada Lux Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization, as well as managing a team of 5-10 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Manage events and conduct performance reviews
  • Coaching and supervisory experience
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a senior management role
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
