Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as a Strategic Education Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to our educational team, ensuring the successful development and implementation of various educational resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and operational leadership to a team of professionals, ensuring the effective development and implementation of educational projects and initiatives.
  • Curriculum Design and Development: Provide strategic direction and support to the development and delivery of education and resources, including e-learning, instructor-led, videos, case studies, webinars, and other educational resources.
  • Knowledge Mobilization and Partner Engagement: Establish and maintain partnerships with external and internal partners to support the successful development, implementation, and delivery of various educational projects.
  • Budget Management: Manage multiple project budgets, providing regular reporting of expenditures to leadership and funding agencies.
  • Communication and Reporting: Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in education, pedagogy, or instructional design.
  • Skills and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience providing strategic direction and leadership to projects, with a minimum of 3 years of experience leading and supervising a project team.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of educational development tools, including eLearning authoring software, animation tools, learning management systems, and video, audio, photo, and graphic editing tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external teams, vendors, and partners.
Working Environment

This role will be based in a comfortable indoor area, with options for hybrid work. The work will involve regular interaction with our team members and external partners and collaborators. There are deadline pressures, while at the same time there is a demand for thoroughness and accuracy. Occasional travel may be required.
