Job Description

At Currys Group, we're driven by a passion for delivering exceptional results through strategic initiatives. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in managing our Transformation Portfolio, ensuring successful delivery of projects and programs within budget, quality, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio Management: Oversee the single source of truth across the portfolio, providing consolidated reports, KPIs, and dashboards to inform management decisions.
  2. Reporting and Analysis: Produce and maintain core reporting requirements across the portfolio for key meetings and stakeholders, driving data-driven insights.
  3. RAID Management: Manage and drive data inputs/outputs for the RAID management process, ensuring timely escalations and consolidating common themes.
  4. Portfolio Roadmap and Plan: Develop and maintain the Portfolio Roadmap and Plan, including milestones, dependencies, and change management.
  5. Change Control: Ensure robust Change Control across the portfolio, assessing the impact of upcoming changes against the Portfolio Plan with a focus on Critical Path.
  6. Quality Assurance: Provide independent Quality Assurance for all projects and programs prior to Stage Gate Reviews at the Currys Change Board.
  7. Support and Development: Support the Lead Portfolio Manager in preparation and facilitation of critical portfolio governance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across processes.
  8. Ad-hoc Reporting: Deliver ad-hoc reporting, control, and portfolio management requests from the Lead Portfolio Manager or Head of Portfolio as required.

You will support yearly delivery roadmap and budgeting cycles, and provide Portfolio support to Heads of Delivery as required.

Requirements

  2. Presentation and Communication: Ability to present effectively to senior management and communicate, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels across the organization.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, able to identify complex critical issues and constructively challenge colleagues to improve program delivery overall.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
  5. Organizational Skills: Exceptional organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
  6. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
  7. Positive Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude and proven ability to deliver cost-effective solutions when faced with difficult and challenging project-impacting risks and issues.
  8. Collaborative Approach: Ability to think on feet and learn quickly, with a collaborative approach.
