Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team at Volkswagen Unionville. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles, including those with complex electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Detect and diagnose vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure vehicles are running at optimal levels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective repair processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and manufacturer recommendations to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to understand their vehicle needs and expectations.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License and a clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Technician's License and Ontario College of Trades membership.
  • Four years of direct work experience in automotive repairs and service.
  • Extensive knowledge of different vehicles and their service needs.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and communicate effectively with customers.
