Automotive Service Technician Job Opportunity

Zanchin Automotive Group, a leading network of dealerships, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their team.

This role involves performing vehicle preventative maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, including diagnosing and identifying vehicle repair and/or malfunction, performing vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately, and inspecting vehicle engine in operation, road testing motor vehicles, and testing automotive systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and identify vehicle repair and/or malfunction
  • Perform vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately
  • Inspect vehicle engine in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the functionality and longevity of the vehicle
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed
  • Road test vehicles, as required

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • 310S Mechanic License in good standing
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • Desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
  • Proven commitment to quality of work
