Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinishing Specialist to join our team at CARBEST AUTO SALES INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and refinishing, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Plan and execute repair work, including painting and refinishing
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and safety
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on repair techniques
  • Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame, and underbody components as needed
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Repair or replace interior components, including windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a perfect match
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
