Key Responsibilities- Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Plan repair work to be performed, including tasks such as estimating, inspecting, and repairing vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for our clients
- Clean and maintain the work space, adhering to safety standards and regulations
- Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on repair techniques and best practices
- Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as needed
- File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, following safety protocols
- Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, demonstrating precision and skill
- Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish
- Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim
- Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, adhering to safety standards
- Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a perfect match
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, demonstrating attention to detail
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
