We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to join our team at Nicola Wealth. As a key member of our Business Transformation Team, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of new processes and technologies by applying change management methodology and best practices to change management plans.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Change Management or Internal Communications, with a solid understanding of Change Management methodology and best practices. Prosci certification and/or other Business Communication certification is considered an asset.

Key responsibilities will include aligning with the overall change management strategy for given projects, conducting comprehensive Change Impact Assessments and validation exercises with key stakeholder groups, and creating or supporting the creation of Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans based on detailed analysis of stakeholders and the impact of the change.

The successful candidate will be a creative problem solver who is able to prioritize, manage, and handle multiple tasks with a proven ability to discern between critical and less important problems. They will also be able to work effectively with diverse clients, co-workers, and levels of technical knowledge, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor and collaborate under pressure.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Align with the overall change management strategy for given projects
  • Conduct comprehensive Change Impact Assessments and validation exercises with key stakeholder groups
  • Create or support the creation of Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans
  • Prepare key messages, leadership talking points, website content, and other communication collateral
  • Manage feedback mechanisms and work closely with the project team to action on feedback received
  • Proactively manage key stakeholder relationships to support and monitor change adoption
  • Interact with stakeholders to define rate of adoption of the changes taking place and identify gaps to be addressed
  • Identify change management related risks and appropriate mitigation strategies to the project/program

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' Change Management or Internal Communications experience
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Business, Communication, Information Technology, or other relevant field
  • Solid understanding of Change Management methodology and best practices
  • Prosci certification and/or other Business Communication certification is considered an asset
  • Financial services experience is an asset
  • Experience in website content creation and management
  • Skilled in utilizing various tools to create communication materials
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills required
