Job Summary

RAP FREIGHT INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, utilizing computer equipment and GPS technology to optimize routes and minimize fuel consumption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to ensure efficient delivery
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, maintaining professionalism in customer service
  • Load and unload goods, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely communication
  • Tarping and securing cargo to ensure safety and security
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver logbook and inspection report maintenance
  • Reliability, hardworking, and physically demanding work environment
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with RAP FREIGHT INC., you will be working on the road, with a permanent work term and 40-50 hours of work per week. We provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, as well as awareness training for youth and Indigenous workers.
