Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

SRR TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload cargo at designated locations, and ensure that all cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and respond to any issues or concerns that may arise during transport.
  • Maintain Records: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate records of all transport activities.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of [insert experience] years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
