Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

SRR TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, schedules, and cargo loads to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) occasionally.
