Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Foxriver Logistics is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of our vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that our vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all communication is clear and concise.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Communication Systems: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation Experience: Possess long-haul transportation experience and be willing to travel for extended periods.
  • Security and Safety: Hold a basic security clearance and have a valid driver's licence.
