Job Title: Truck Driver

RAP FREIGHT INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Load and unload goods, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain accurate records of cargo and vehicle status.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) are required.
  • Accident or incident reports, driver logbook, and inspection reports must be maintained accurately.
  • Physically demanding work, with regular sitting and standing required.
