We are seeking a highly skilled Evaluation Analyst to join our team at Fraser Health. As an Evaluation Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the analysis, evaluation, and reporting of program evaluation in Mental Health and Substance Use Services (MHSUS) within Fraser Health.
Key Responsibilities- Support evaluation planning, implementation, and reporting of MHSU services and initiatives by collecting and analyzing data.
- Collaborate with program managers, leadership, and teams to assess and determine required information to satisfy reporting requirements.
- Design a practical evaluation model that integrates monitoring, self-assessment, planning, and evaluation of program or health services.
- Develop evaluation plans by reviewing evidence-based literature, identifying key stakeholders, and developing logic models.
- Develop data analysis plans for both qualitative and quantitative data, resourcing, and timelines for implementation.
- Provide technical expertise, interpretation, advice, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on data sources, data flow, data governance, and statistical analysis.
- Analyze and interpret complex internal and external databases using various software tools.
- Support the development and maintenance of key metrics, standard performance indicators, balanced scorecards, and other interpretive reports on clinical measures and outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes in project scope or perform corrective action where appropriate.
- Verify the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data and information.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Business, or Public Administration, or a related field, plus one to three years of recent, related experience in evaluation/research/decision support in healthcare, public health, community health programs, acute care, or other health services.
You will also require knowledge of Indigenous health approaches, protocols, traditions, and values, as well as superior writing and verbal communication abilities, independent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and competence in evaluation processes, including Logic Models, Performance Monitoring frameworks, and data analyses.
