Clinical Coordinator, Community Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our Community Mental Health team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the day-to-day operations of our mental health and substance use program.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the mental health and substance use team, ensuring optimal use of resources and efficient use of clinical staff.
- Supervise designated clinical staff, providing performance evaluations, staff training, and development opportunities.
- Participate in the recruitment of new clinical staff, including interviewing and making recommendations for hiring decisions.
- Conduct client file reviews, ensuring clinical records are complete and clinically sound.
- Provide linkage between community mental health and substance use programs, acute care hospitals, and community residential facilities.
- Assist staff in resolving complex clinical issues, providing clinical consultation, role modeling, instruction, and coaching.
- Oversee the development of joint care plans, ensuring proper completion and monitoring.
- Participate in quality assurance audits, facility reviews, and risk management activities.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or other relevant health-related discipline.
- Four years of recent related experience, including two years of staff supervisory experience, and clinical experience in individual, family, and group modalities of practice in mental health/psychiatry.
- Eligible for registration with relevant professional association.
- Valid B.C. Driver's license and access to personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
