Your Opportunity

Our Ottawa and/or Manotick office is seeking a bilingual Intermediate Associate to join the Cloud Accounting Services team and take ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping services in a cloud-based environment
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, journal entries, and handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare regular external filings, such as HST completion of routine account analysis and bookkeeping assignments following established procedures
  • Prepare month-end reporting packages, financial statements, and related information
  • Respond to queries and correct errors identified by Senior staff
  • Communicate regularly with our clients, government agencies, and other staff members

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on, in-depth bookkeeping experience
  • Bilingual (English and French) proficiency
  • A post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Experience using software such as QuickBooks Online, Acomba, and Sage 50 or similar operating systems is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
