About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Transformation Account Manager to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team. As a trusted advisor to our largest and most committed customers, you will be responsible for managing the working relationship with Federal Government organizations, developing a long-term sales strategy, and executing that strategy within those accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Customer Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with customers to understand their business drivers and customer portfolio, and develop a long-term vision and strategy to drive growth and success.
  • Engage with Customers: Engage with customers to understand their needs and develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases.
  • Demand Creation and Deal Shaping: Identify and develop specific opportunities, and create demand through deal shaping, including estimations and deal pricing.
  • Contract Negotiations and Management: Identify and position appropriate contracts for opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage the execution of Statements of Work.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential opportunity and delivery risks, and define mitigation plans to address such risks and issues.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as the single point of contact for customer executives, developing deep and trustful relationships.
  • Cloud Solutions Expertise: Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition.
