About the Role:

We're seeking a highly experienced Sr. Enterprise Services Manager to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team in Ottawa, ON, CAN. As a trusted advisor to our largest and most committed customers, you will be responsible for managing the working relationship with Federal National Security and Defence organizations, developing a long-term Professional Services sales strategy, and executing that strategy within these accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Long-term Customer Vision and Strategy Development: Engage with customers to understand their business drivers and customer portfolio, identify and develop specific opportunities, and create supporting business cases.
  • Demand Creation and Deal Shaping: Develop and execute sales strategies, including estimations and deal pricing, to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Contract Negotiations and Management: Identify and position appropriate contracts for opportunities, negotiate and finalize contracts, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify potential opportunity and delivery risks, define mitigation plans, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer executives, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience selling transformative consulting services to the Federal Government of Canada
  • Experience working with Federal National Security and Defence organizations as the Consulting Services lead, Client Partner, Account Manager, or Relationship Manager
  • Extensive working knowledge of National Security and Defence consulting contract vehicles and related RFx activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations
