Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Shree Khodiyar Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Hire and train new food service staff to ensure that we have a skilled and dedicated team.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, providing exceptional customer service and high-quality food.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
