Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Shree Khodiyar Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Hire and train new food service staff to ensure that we have a skilled and dedicated team.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, providing exceptional customer service and high-quality food.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare and submit budget and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers receive a positive experience.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with our staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively with our staff, customers, and suppliers to ensure that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with our staff, customers, and suppliers to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Initiative: Take initiative to improve our operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our service and quality.
- Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Inclusive Recruitment: Apply inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities.
- Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Workshops and Counselling: Offer workshops, counselling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
- Flexible Onboarding: Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Awareness Training: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Phased Retirement: Offer phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
- Phased Re-entry: Offer phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
- Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
