About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Staff Member to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bear responsibility for cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for customer consumption.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; however, previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $38,000 - $48,000 CAD, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards for a kitchen staff member in a similar role and location.
