Job Title: Case Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Case Worker to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a Case Worker, you will work with clients who have complex mental health needs, including dual diagnosis disorders, developmental disorders, and schizophrenia. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and guidance to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being in a therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients to develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, promoting their independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Monitor and document client progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for success.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in working with clients with complex needs.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Developmental Services Work or related field.
  • Experience working with clients with dual diagnosis disorders, developmental disorders, and schizophrenia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and First Aid certifications.
