About the Role:
CA007 Mercer (Canada) Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Benefits Consultant II to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a critical role in leading consulting engagements with employers regarding their medical, dental, life, disability benefit plans and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements, including managing overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies.
- Develop benefits design and renewal strategies and drive the development of tools and solutions to address client issues.
- Effectively communicate Mercer's position on the latest industry trends to clients.
- Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
- Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
- Set strategic direction that creates demand for new products and services in the marketplace.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree.
- At least 8 years' experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' healthcare benefits challenges.
- Valid and current LLQP or AMF license.
- Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health and accident benefits; special risks including expatriate benefits.
- Experience in managing product turnkey solutions, placement, and dedicated facilities.
- Superior analytical, mathematical, strategic planning, consulting, and business development skills; coupled with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Demonstrated management skills in leading projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
