About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wealth Insurance Specialist to join our team at NBC. As a key member of our insurance support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our partners consistently deliver high-quality service that meets all quality, compliance, and risk management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Insurance Policy Management: Evaluate insurance requests from investment advisors to ensure appropriate types and levels of coverage, including making recommendations and ensuring follow-up.
  • Back-Office Insurance Support: Manage back-office insurance requests such as agent changes, customer service management, registration and licensing, insurer codes, and business book transfers.
  • CRM Management: Ensure insurance policy requirements are met and manage the CRM system.
  • Insurance Policy Renewal: Manage the insurance policy renewal process.
  • Procedure Development: Create and modify procedures, maintain insurance-related records and documents up to date.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with legal and compliance sectors to ensure proper coordination of legal actions.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance and advice to internal staff regarding insurance requirements for various contracts as needed.
  • External Partnerships: Connect with external insurance providers as necessary.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and one year of relevant experience.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
  • Legislation: Knowledge of relevant legislation and its application to insurance policies and practice.
  • CRM and Insurance Experience: Knowledge and experience in CRM processing, insurance company back-office service, pricing processes, and insurance delivery.
  • Customer Service: Experience in customer service/advisory roles.
  • Skills: Demonstrating excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, time management, problem-solving, communication, and customer satisfaction assessment skills.
  • Financial Security Advisor: Holding a financial security advisor title/license.
  • Equisoft/Centralize Systems: Good knowledge of Equisoft/Centralize systems is an asset.

Language

We require proficiency in English and French to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
