Agriculture Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Agriculture Technical Advisor to join our team at Kenna, a leading provider of innovative agricultural solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our growers and clients in Canada, providing expert technical advice and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Agri-Business Planning and Support: Conduct outbound business planning sessions with Canadian growers, leading meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide tailored agronomic solutions.
- Transaction Management: Manage the flow of transactional information from opportunity to demand generation, coordinating the involvement of our field representatives as needed.
- Technical Support and Relationship Building: Provide inbound technical agronomic support to growers, retailers, and business representatives, building trusted relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Client Ownership and Communication: Assume full ownership of incoming client calls, ensuring a consistent positive customer experience and capturing key discussion points for future relationship opportunities and market intel.
- Product Knowledge and Support: Develop a thorough knowledge of our products, tools, and services to best support customer requests and needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Results-driven and highly organized
- Ability to create and communicate value to current and potential customers in English and French
- Ability to think independently, problem solve, handle objections, and manage expectations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- University degree or diploma in Agriculture or other science-related disciplines
- Minimum of 1-year customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Products
- Previous experience in sales is preferred
