Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Agriculture Technical Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our service and support hub, you will play a crucial role in helping growers find the answers they need and launching your career in agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Agri-Business Planning and Support
Conduct outbound agri-business planning sessions with Canadian growers, leading meaningful conversations to uncover needs and demonstrate agronomic solutions tailored to their individual requirements.
Transaction Management and CoordinationManage the flow of transactional information from opportunity to demand generation, and coordinate the involvement of our field representatives when necessary.
Technical Agronomic SupportProvide inbound technical agronomic support to growers, retailers, and business representatives, building trusted relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Client Ownership and Relationship BuildingAssume full ownership of incoming client calls, ensuring a consistent positive customer experience and capturing key discussion points for future relationship opportunities and market intel.
Product Knowledge and SupportDevelop a thorough knowledge of our client's products, tools, and services to best support customer requests and needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Results-Driven and Organized
Results-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to create and communicate value to current and potential customers in English.
Problem-Solving and TeamworkAbility to think independently, problem solve, handle objections, and manage expectations, with a strong ability to work in a team environment.
Customer Service and CommunicationExceptional customer service skills, with the ability to employ active listening, proactively uncover needs, and provide valuable solutions to build lasting rapport and relationships.
Education and ExperienceUniversity degree or diploma in Agriculture or other science-related disciplines, with a minimum of 1-year customer service experience and proficiency in MS Office Products.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in sales is preferred, with a willingness to learn and have an active awareness of current industry topics affecting Canadian agriculture.

This role is currently remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and innovative team.
