Project Director

Graham, a leading employee-owned construction solutions partner, is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join our Buildings division. As a seasoned construction professional, you will be responsible for leading complex construction projects in the healthcare, education, hospitality, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with preconstruction teams to develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates and timely project delivery.
- Oversee the subcontracting process, including scope review meetings, subcontract scope development, and distribution and execution management.
- Develop and maintain organizational responsibility matrices, approving project resources as required.
- Review contract documents with project participants and commercial managers to ensure clear deliverables and timely project completion.
- Prepare and maintain regular status reports for company executives and client committees, recommending actions to ensure project success.
- Ensure project schedules, milestone dates, and closeout checklists are prepared and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, construction joint venture partners, financing partners, and other stakeholders.
- Actively participate in industry, client, and community relations to enhance and promote Graham.
- A minimum of 15+ years of direct construction project management experience in the ICI buildings sector.
- Technical diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods and project management processes across contract types like CCDC2, CCDC5, CCDC30.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex construction projects in the Commercial, Manufacturing, or Post-Secondary space.
- Ability to train project staff in all aspects of project requirements.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and a detailed understanding of commercial and contract terms.
