Job Title: Chinese Bilingual RPN and PSW

Job Summary:
Adecco Canada is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) and Personal Support Workers (PSW) to provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals in need. This contract role involves prioritizing the health and well-being of patients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and care.

Responsibilities:

RPN Responsibilities:

  • Triage incoming patient calls and assess health needs.
  • Discuss test results and respond to health promotion queries.
  • Initiate and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient visits, documenting history and healthcare needs.
  • Educate patients on various tests and potential side effects of immunizations.
  • Perform follow-ups for blood pressure and INR management, providing patient education as per FHT guidelines.
  • Assist physicians with minor clinic procedures and document all patient interactions accurately.


PSW Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one care to elderly patients, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Support clients in achieving their individual goals as outlined in their support plans.
  • Engage clients in leisure activities to promote social interaction.
  • Document daily care reports, including incident reports and medication administration.
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.


Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
  • Valid registration as an RPN or certification as a PSW in Ontario.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
