Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Comfort Inn Charlottetown. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
    • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Guest Services
    • Investigate complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area
    • Assist guests with special needs and provide support as required
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Manage front desk operations, including answering telephone calls and relaying messages
    • Process group arrivals and departures, and take, cancel, and change room reservations
    • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
    • Work collaboratively with the front desk team to achieve common goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset

    • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism
