Senior Respiratory Therapy Operations Manager

We are seeking a Senior Respiratory Therapy Operations Manager to join our team at Alberta Health Services (AHS), a leading healthcare provider in Canada.
Job Description:In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Respiratory Therapy department, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively. You will lead a team of Respiratory Therapists and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure seamless operations.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with managers and directors to develop and implement strategies that drive excellence in patient care, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. Your expertise in respiratory therapy, combined with your exceptional leadership skills, will enable you to make informed decisions that benefit patients, staff, and the organization as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Respiratory Therapists and support staff
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes
- Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A graduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Proven expertise in respiratory therapy and operations management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and professional standards
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development are also offered.
