The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our Generics Retail Sales business in Canada. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the sales organization and customer operations, including service, demand planning, sales analytics, and sales force effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and manage a team of approximately 50 professionals across three departments, fostering a culture of performance and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow generics retail sales, drive engagement, and enhance customer operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 50 professionals with a focus on national retail sales.
  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to achieve revenue growth and successful product launches.
Your Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of sales leadership experience in pharmaceuticals, preferably in generics, with strong knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market.
  • Progressively evolving leadership experience managing functions in one or more relevant business areas, such as marketing, product management, customer service, or supply chain.
  • Strong strategic and operational skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional sales teams and drive business success and innovation.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, manage budgets, and drive change.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging technology and data within the industry and understanding its implications from a competitive standpoint.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 CAD, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health plan, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
