About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 2143261 Ontario Inc. as a General Construction Labourer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Supporting Medical Examiners: Provide assistance to medical examiners as needed.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Paving and Raking: Pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Cleanliness: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various locations. The work site environment can be dusty, and the work setting may involve working at different locations.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train is essential.
  • Physical Capabilities: The role is physically demanding and involves repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: A team player with a hardworking attitude is required.
  • Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
  • Workplace Information: This is an on-the-road job with a permanent duration. The working hours are 35 to 40 hours per week, and the language of work is English.
