We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, assisting radiologists, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Assist radiologists during procedures and provide patient care
- Input patient data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS
- Provide direction and training to student technologists and staff trainees
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and successful completion of a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan
- Four weeks of vacation with one year of continuous service
