Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, assisting radiologists, and providing direction to student technologists and staff trainees.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
Assist radiologists during procedures, inputting patient data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS
Provide direction and training to student technologists and staff trainees
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote a safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program, plus successful completion of a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Two years recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
