Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, assisting radiologists, and providing direction to student technologists and staff trainees.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Assist radiologists during procedures and provide patient care
• Input patient data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS
• Provide direction and training to student technologists and staff trainees
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and completion of a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
• Eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT
• Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
