Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for examination and operate nuclear medicine equipment
• Monitor patients during procedures and prepare, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform routine quality control tests on imaging equipment and monitor areas using detection devices
• Dispose of radioactive substances and contaminated items according to established guidelines

Requirements:
• Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
• Current certification with CAMRT and eligible for membership with CAMRT and CAMRT-BC
• Demonstrated ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively
• Ability to promote client-focused care and demonstrate care for and with clients and significant others
