Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our IT team, you will provide technical support and assistance to our end-users, ensuring they have a positive experience with our technology services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Manage technical support issues via our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Conduct research to resolve application development issues and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Work on complex assignments that require judgment, initiative, and specialized knowledge to identify and resolve problems.
- Technical support of hardware and software, including providing telephone, email, and in-person support to end-users.
- Ensure incidents are handled in a timely manner and appropriate escalation is followed.
- Document existing and new systems and procedures.
- Bachelor's or College Diploma in IT and related fields.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, good listening skills, and the ability to gain customer confidence and trust.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Ability to handle multiple calls/tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Strong commitment to high-quality service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, client/server, remote tools, Windows 10/11, Server 2019, and Oracle Databases.
- Associate, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus.
Work in a hybrid environment in Toronto, ON.
Assignment start date: ASAP - 12 months to start.
