Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our management team and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our hotel and conference centre.
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
    • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and notify applicants of results of the selection process.
  • Employee Relations
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Employee Development
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of our hotel and conference centre.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Conditions
    • 40 hours per week.
